WANA Live Party 2021
Wanna celebrate with Austin Clubhouse? Look no further than our 2021 WANA Live Party! This fun evening will celebrate community while increasing awareness of mental health recovery and wellness, honoring mental health leaders, and raising funds to advance Austin Clubhouse’s mission.
This year’s event will feature our first ever Spirit of Community Awards, where we will honor two community
organizations that are breaking the silence of stigma and inspiring awareness and healing for persons living with mental
health diagnoses.
Our inaugural honorees are The Hogg Foundation for Mental Health, represented by Executive
Director Dr. Octavio Martinez, and Austin Area Mental Health Consumers, operators of The SHAC (Self Help & Advocacy
Center), represented by Executive Director Shannon Carr.
Each ticket will include:
- Reception and Asian-themed dinner sponsored by Old Thousand ("Dope Chinese")
- Recorded message and musical performance by Austin singer-songwriter BettySoo
- Inspiring stories from individuals with lived mental health experience
